It was the first Christmas for all babes born in 2010, and this gal just might be the cutest! I got together with Miss Paisley and her parents for a short session in December just before her four-month birthday. The photographs were Christmas gifts for the grandparents. And my guess is that enjoying Paisley’s first Christmas was the best gift her parents have ever gotten. Here’s to many more!

Just before Thanksgiving, I met some friends from the ol’ high school days for a family portrait session at the Gamble Plantation in Ellenton, Fla. Caasi wanted a photograph with her husband, Robby, and their adorable daughter, Reece, for their annual Christmas card. The bright November morning was the first time I met Reece, and it wasn’t only the camera that loved this ‘Little Miss Sunshine.’ Her clever remarks and priceless expressions made the shoot such a joy. After spending some time with them, it was obvious that this family has a lot for which to be thankful. ‘Tis the season.

We also stopped by their place to include the rest of the family!

I spent the morning of New Year’s Eve photographing some longtime friends. It was a lovely morning while the light lasted. I used the relaxing session to experiment with some of the unfamiliar features on my camera. Enjoy.

I also have a new logo in the New Year. An old colleague whipped it up for me. I wanted some frilly graphics incorporated, as they will come in handy for decor on promotional materials. Thanks, Mike!

And Happy New Year to all!
